2016年全球50大钢铁企业排行榜，中国钢企占据半壁江山
世界钢铁协会(World Steel Association)发布《世界钢铁统计数据2017》(World Steel in Figures 2017)，该统计数据根据2016年粗钢产量情况对全球钢铁企业进行排名，并发布了全球前50大钢铁企业名单(TOP STEELMAKERS 2016)。
安塞乐米塔尔位列全球第一位。中国共有26家企业上榜，宝武集团名列第二位，河钢集团名列第三位，进入前十名的还有沙钢集团、鞍钢集团和首钢集团。
世界钢铁协会是全球最大最有活力的行业组织之一，会员覆盖全世界160多家钢铁制造企业(包括全球最大的10家钢铁公司中的9家钢铁公司)、国家或区域钢铁协会，以及钢铁研究组织。世界钢铁协会会员的粗钢产量占到全世界的85%左右。
